We had a studio full of great Americana with Tyler Haag and the Jakes. We talked about the music and the supportive Twin Cities music scene. We heard them play some amazing tunes. They sound terrific together and it’s great to hear Tyler’s music progress from sad to empowerment in this upcoming EP, Sport. And interesting to hear about his new process for writing songs. You can see them play live on Sociable Cider Werks on August 5.
