Music 4 Shelter, a concert benefit for nonprofit Simpson Housing Services, returns to The Fillmore Minneapolis on October 6. Legendary Minnesota band The Suburbs headline the show with award-winning and upcoming artists Nur-D, Lady Midnight, and DJ Sophia Eris. Comedian, artist, and emcee Miss Shannan will host.  

The evening includes live music, dancing, and an online auction that is accessible for those not able to attend the concert. Auction items will include exciting music and experience packages such as Doom Tree Records collection and memorabilia, cooking classes from local chef Beth Dooley, and several sports tickets from the Vikings, Timberwolves, Wild, and Minnesota United FC.   

Tickets come in a range of prices and experiences for every fan: 

  • All-Access Pass tickets: $125 per person. Includes performances by all musical acts; four complimentary beverages; and hors d’oeuvres by CRAVE.   
  • General Admission tickets: $50 per person. Includes performances by The Suburbs, Nur-D, and DJ Sophia Eris; two complimentary beverages; and snacks. 
  • Nur-D Party Pass: $35 per person. Includes performances by Nur-D and DJ Sophia Eris; one complimentary beverage; and snacks.  

Music 4 Shelter began three years ago when Simpson Board Member Audra Williams found that her love for music and art aligns with Simpson Housing Services’ work to end homelessness. “Everyone deserves a place to call home,” Audra says. “Music 4 Shelter marries my passion for music with raising awareness and giving back to our community.”
