Such a delight to have Josie and Ruby from FINICK in studio. Josie is the founder and singer songwriter; Ruby and her twin sister, Adriana, play drums and bass. Long time friends, they got involved with music through She Rock, She Rock, a nonprofit that hosts young girls and gender expansive folks at camp to learn and play music. The trio went for a few years and this year they will be counselors! The music is wise, yet whimsical. Josie writes songs that tells a story and have a lesson. The music is folk for sure but dabbles in the genre – especially with recently released songs that lean sea shanty.
