So much fun to have Dallas Orbiter members (Jon Schmig and Greg Flanagan) in studio to talk about their upcoming album Spaceman Things. The band has been playing together in one iteration for decades, but this is their first release in more than 10 years. The music is cinematic, sort of space age with a slow boil passion that’s soothing and energizing at once. You can hear it live on September 13 at Mortimer’s. The band has been meeting weekly for decades to play music and it shows. We had a chance to ask Dallas Orbiter 5 Questions earlier this month.)
Big thanks to Langen Goldstien (GirlattheRockShows) for helping out as guest DJ. Langen has had a long week after her socials were hacked. You can keep up with her at her new Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/girlattherockshows_mn/). Give her a follow for great music reviews and news!
