Chroma Zona has been making the industrial area around 280 and University more beautiful and more welcoming by sponsoring murals. There are 60 murals, 5 are new this year and one more is expected. (The artist’s visa is slow to come to her in Argentia.) They have been adding new murals for several years. You can visit the murals any time day or night. It was a favorite pandemic pastime of mine it combines art and getting steps. They have maps you can download to find them all.
Each year they celebrate the new (and old) murals with a festival. It’s happening today (Saturday September 21) from noon to 4pm at Dual Citizen Brewing. There will be art and music (Bad Bad Hats!), food and drink.
