Mostly MN Music with Paul Boblett on the XTC Tribute show Oct 24 at the Parkway Theater

It was a treat to have Paul Boblett on the show today. The premise was to talk about XTC: The Tribute // Senses Working Overtime 9, happening October 24 at the Parkway Theater. It includes a pretty complete list of Minnesota musicians with performances by Aby Wolf, Al Church, Amy Meyer, David J. Russ, Faith Boblett, Jenny Russ, John Eller, Jo Kellen, John Fields, John Munson, John Robinson, Jourdan Myers, Ken Chastain, Matthew Kirkwold, Nathan Nesje, Paul Boblett, Rick Meyer, Rob Meany, Seth Duin, Tom Scott, Walter Powell and Transmission’s DJ Jake Rudh.

We also talked about Paul’s other bands including Zeppo, Faith Boblett and a Wayzata Church. We talked about music of the 90s and today. We talked about Paul’s year of change with the death of his wife of 40 years, moving to the Twin Cities, new grandbaby and more. I think we even talked about history! It was a fun afternoon.

Big thanks to folks who sent us requests and recommendations for songs about songs/bands that have the letter X, Q, or Z!
