It was great to celebrate International Women’s Day with Miss Georgia Peach, John Ewing and Langen Goldstien (Girl at the Rock Shows). It was amazing to have them play so many songs today. A nice blend of original and interesting covers. And fun to hear about Georgia’s experience as a performer (so many bands), songwriter (songs just dropping out of her) and mail carrier. Miss Georgia Peach has worn many musical hats over the years but old school country flavor suits Georgia’s emotive voice and the new album, Class Out the Ass, is spectacular. You can see the whole band April 19 at the Uptown VFW.
