We were delighted to have Sawtooth Witch in studio today – or at least half of the band, Doc. It’s a new band with some familiar faces who wear many hats in the music community. Doc hosts Desert Islands on KFAI, works many events and shows in town and is in an impressive list of bands. Impressive both in caliber and volume! Yet someone we pretty much kept the conversation to the new music. Fun to hear about how purposeful the direction of the music is, the team behind the upcoming album and the difference between recorded and live music. (Spoiler alert: statement versus conversation.) Sawtooth Witch is taking a very brief break from live music but will be back in town and around the state in August.
