What a delight to have Kristyn Leight bring her birthday self and her music (M.A.Y. Midwest American Youth) to the studio. It was inspiring to hear how purposefully Kristyn has made and committed to decisions in her life from identity to music. Amazing to hear someone talk about making invest in money, times and talents into herself and to see the pay off. She also invests in the community and lifts up other artists. You can see M.A.Y. July 25 at Utepils, August 1 at Eagles 34, Augst 12 at the White Squirrel and other places.
Big thanks to Langen Goldstien (Girl at the Rock Shows) for cohosting. Our theme this week was travel; you can check out the songs we played below or our aspirational playlist on Spotify.
