Mostly MN Music with Slime Monsters From Outer Space

We loved having Slime Monsters From Outer Space in studio. A full band including drums, with a mini set of good and loud songs, just as punk should be played. Big thanks to them for hauling in their equipment, squishing up a bit and improvising with what’s in the studio. The music is punk in sound and ethos. Reminded me of punk passion I heard in the 1980s, but with more musicality. Bandmembers (Lucky, Phoenix, Brian, Ryan and John) were a delight. They are a growing team but really seem to enjoy each other, which is fun to see. They have a few shows in the hopper, including playing a Noise Invasion at the Pillar Forum on October 27.

Big thanks to Langen Goldstien (Girl at the Rock Shows) for cohosting. Our theme this week was storms; you can check out the songs we played below or our aspirational playlist on Spotify.
