Jesse and June is a new song by shugE from the 2025 album “I pick flowers in the spring & light fires in the fall.” It’s part musicians playing the song and part touching story friends escaping abusive transphobic & domestic violence situations. Given the times we’re in, after the murder of Renee Good, it’s reminder of vulnerability across the community. And this story seems to have a happy ending. And that’s what I needed to ear and see today!
