New MN Music Video: Hope to Hell by The Gated Community – playing The Pattern Room April 18

The Gated Community‘s new single (part of an Anti-ICE EP), Hope to Hell and the video below, captures one prominent feeling we had in the Twin Cities during Operation Metro Surge. That feeling of tamped down hope, the recognition that we’re the right people at the right time to stand up for our community but no one should ever have to do this. We were angry too, and scared and cold and tired. But Hope to Hell captures the in between of those feelings perfectly.

Also, all of the proceeds will be donated to local aid organizations including Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee (MIRAC)— an organization supporting individuals and families impacted by unjust immigration laws and deportations. (You can donate here! or by coming to their show at The Pattern Room on April 18. (More info on the show below the video.)
