My mom’s friend Suzy recommended the following, Under The Quarter Moon by Carla Sciaky.
It turns out that this is more song than video but it’s nice to hear a musician who is new to me. She’s from Colorado but the song was written on the shores of Lake Superior and it has been selected more than once for Minnesota Public Radio compilations, recorded and performed by countless fellow folksingers and choirs, and sung at campfire circles.
It’s a very dreamy song. It’s a very soft song about a cold and often harsh lake; it’s nice to hear a softer side of it.
