It was great to have Reba Fritz and John Crozier of Muskellunge in studio today. They went all out reworking a song they could do acoustically and it was such a treat.
I saw Muskellunge at the Hook and Ladder last week; I enjoyed it so much, we had to get her on the show. It was fun to hear about Reba’s travels and her return home and Minnesota music. Still Learning, the song and the video, are sort of a short take on that idea. It was filmed in and around Hopkins and into Minneapolis in part to showcase her community. That sense of community (and Minnesota!) comes through the music, especially a the live performance.
It was fun too to get a glimpse and Reba and John working together. They are really positive and supportive of each other.
The theme for the day was travel. You can listen to the aspirational playlist on Spotify or check out the list below. The theme for next week is cold.
