Mostly MN Music with The Placaters – playing the Hook and Ladder tonight (Dec 2)

We were excited to have a full band fit into the studio at WMCN today. Even more excited that it was The Placaters – who are playing tonight at the Hook and Ladder.

We got a chance to chat with all the members: Tony Bordsen on Guitar/Vox, Nick Hughes on Drums, Jason Lawson on saxes and Grey Tison on keys. They sound great together and it was a treat to have them in the studio. Fun to see their nonverbal communication during the song. The fun that they seem to be having is infectious and it’s hard not to dance to the music.

The theme was drinking in honor of the holidays. You can listen to the aspirational playlist on Spotify. Or check out what we actually played below.
