The song starts from with a rock edged funk and then eases into the jazz. The horns are great and there’s a drive to the song that will get folks out on the dancefloor for sure. The lyrics are interesting extoling or disparaging free will and predestination in equal parts. The video lends to a sense that this is a discussion that has been happening for generations – sometimes we all feel like we’re fallen into the same damn door.
