Speakeazie on Mostly MN Music – theme sports

What a treat to get to hear Speakeazie’s Jamie, You’re No Good to Me, which is releasing March 15. Love a sneak peek! It’s a song about realizing that you need to end a relationship – even when it’s with Jameson Whiskey. Like many of Speakeazie’s songs, it’s got a dreamy synth-pop sound with a deeper message. It’s a blend that resonates with her audience. You can see Speakeazie play Monday (Feb 12) at Memory Lanes, February 22 at Cloudland and March 14 at Zhora Darling.

Big thanks to Langen Goldstien (Girl at the Rock Show) for cohosting with me. Our theme was sports (a nod to the Super Bowl playing later today.) You can listen to the aspirational playlist on Spotify or check out what we played on air below.
