Be the Light by Mother Coyote is a gorgeous, hopeful song. The video draws from some of the best and worst moments of recent history, especially in the Twin Cities. I had a visceral, heart-string, reaction to the video with the soft, lovely music paired with memories of the past few years, from Operation Metro Surge to the murder of George Floyd, who was killed 6 years ago on May 25 (3 days from today). But the lens focuses on the helpers, not the hurt. Very cathartic.
