We started the semester strong with They Dead in studio – as the TC Marathon ran by the campus. There were cheers from inside and outside the studio! Members of the band include guitarist Bryan Knisley, drummer Ian Prince, and bassist Kate Clements. They are all formidable musicians, who have played in some awesome bands. They put out an album a dozen years ago, life starting lifing and now they find themselves together again playing songs that were created in the “fury and love” we all felt during Operation Metro Surge.
You can see and hear them playing their new album Lucy’s Gone playing at Zhora Dalring on Oct 22, 2026.
Our theme this week was home. You can check out the songs we played below or our aspirational playlist on Spotify. Also nice to be back with Langen Goldstien (Girl at the Rock Shows) in studio!
