We spoke to The Long Honeymoon in studio back in May, they were charming and music was great. So I’m not surprised to fall in love with their new video for Now is the Time. It’s an uplifting political song about life in Minnesota these days and how we’ve come together as a community to keep each other safe. The video is a mashup of the band playing at the Hook & Ladder and other various locations and live footage and images from protests and marches from the Twin Cities. As a march planner, I love to see the people make music and art from the movement. It brings us all closer. Also, make me want to vote!
Definitely worth noting, all proceeds from the sale of this digital single will go to Unidos MN, an organization providing important help to our immigrant neighbors in these challenging times.
