Mostly MN Music Radio Hour with Frankie Lee & Kind Country

We had a fun show today. Frankie Lee stopped by, we got him to talk a little bit about his upcoming album, Stillwater and the influence of place and pace. It’s fun to talk to someone who seems to think a lot about his craft and its place in his life. He picked out a few songs for us to play by other Minnesota musicians (Cactus Blossoms and The Jayhawks) and we did play his latest single – Downtown Lights.

We also had a call in from Kind Country as they were on tour in Appleton WI. They just released their third album last weekend at First Ave. They are a band that is fun to see because they joy they bring to the stage is so infectious. Also – I managed to handle an on-air telephone call without hanging up on anyone.

The theme was musical instruments or singing. You can find our playlist on Spotify or read the list below. As always, the playlists are more aspirational than actual.
