Northwoods Boy by Kung Fu Hippies is, as they indicate, a Theme to a Spaghetti Northern. I love that!
It’s a nostalgic look at life in the North- filmed in the Twin Cities. It’s one guy singing, backed by five guys playing instruments. They look like friends and they have a that found Western feel 0 except they’re playing in front of a park cabin in the fall, rather than on the porch of an old saloon on a sweltering day. Otherwise it’s all northern.
There’s a glimpse of art at the start wolves howling in the moon. And the music travels along like a river, gently moving with a cadence that smooth and catchy.
