Listening to Sela Runn’s When Push Comes to Shove makes me feel like I’m in the middle of a movie. The sound is evocative. The voice is steady and emotive. It’s soothing and almost cathartic to listen to it.
The video doesn’t disappoint. It’s a lot of character development. I feel like I know the object of the song. I feel like I know her eyes and as if I see out of her eyes. I don’t even know if it’s a happy or a sad part of the movie, I just feel the tension and I find it compelling.
