We are thrilled to premiere Apples N Pears by Jarad Miles. There’s just something in the music that will lift your spirits.
The lyrics paint a picture of the perfect day “light on your skin / wind blowing through your hair.” It makes “on and on” seem like the most pleasant experience in the world. The tune is also easy and breezy. There’s even something cheerful about Jarad’s voice.
The video is old footage of some sort of production of The Wizard of Oz. It’s in black and white so it has that almost sinister edge on top of silly that I associate with those older films. And of course is one part light one part dark so it’s an interesting sort of psychedelic contrast.
