And the best part is that it’s a family project. Katy enlisted the help of her son, Lou’s band, Burning Blue Rain, to the recording and the video. (We got a chance to chat with Katy and Lou on our all-live, singer-songwriter show last month.) It’s like watching a family reunion, if your family were musical. It just made me smile.
