Crazy by Christy Merry is a great upbeat, vintage jazzy pop song. It’s delightful and the video suits it perfectly. It’s a very unusual performance video. I’m assuming it’s shot at Matt Patrick’s Library Studio. I’ve never been there but who else would have shelves of CFR Federal Reporter but a studio called The Library? Most of the artists (Noah Levy, Aaron Fabbrini , Kyle Tennis , Eric Songer and Matt Patrick) are playing as you might expect while Christy also pops in as a torch singer hologram from the roaring 1920s. Interspersed are quick images from the same era.
The video is for the final single released for the Doree & the Dishes EP, by Christy Merry. It was fun to see the video after chatting with Christy last April. The whole concept for the 4-song EP is fun at a time when we need it! You can celebrate the EP release with Christy July 11 at Cosmic Coffee in NE Minneapolis.
