5 Questions with Nur-D on new album, Hell, wrestling, hard things and good things

It is always a delight to have Nur-D (Matt Allen by day) in the studio. He’s a ball of good energy putting so many awesome things in the world. He learned about his professional wrestling. (Be sure to check out Obadiah King!) We listened and learned more about his latest album, Hell. It is a smart album about life in the Twin Cities during Operation Metro Surge and Matt’s harrowing experience with ICE. Some of the songs make you want to wake up in the morning (Hell Yea), some make you want shout and sing (Play) and some make you think a lot (Catcher Man). We spoke about venues, gaming, the beauty of St Paul and more!

Our theme this week was hope and happiness. You can check out the songs we played below or our aspirational playlist on Spotify.  Also nice to be back with Langen Goldstien (Girl at the Rock Shows) in studio!
