Super excited for a fun and feel good event – Rose + Bull’s Welcome to Wonderland: Vintage Fashion Show fundraiser for The Link on Sept 18. Doors open at 12:30 and runways show starts at 2:00.
It was fun to speak with the Rose + Bull Founders Lizann Villatoro and Jalyn Rose. They are great representatives of the vintage fashion industry; they look great and their hearts are big. I think those factors are related!
Everyone involved with the event is volunteering their time. They went to a great extend to find models, artists, designers, production folks and others from underrepresented communities. This is an opportunity to lift up new voices and they are making the most of it. All of the proceeds from ticket sales for the show will go to support The Link, a nonprofit that focused on lifting up youth and young families struggling with poverty and homelessness.
The in-person event is sold out but your can get a ticket to watch online. The ticket is free but there is an opportunity to donate. It sounds like more activities are in their minds if not in the works yet. I strongly suggest you follow them to keep in the know – especially if you want to be on the runway, front row or performing at the next event.
