Mostly MN Music with Capital Sons and theme of cold

It’s always a treat to have a band play live in the studio and today we were treated by Karl, Rick and Keith from Capital Sons.

We first spoke to the Capital Sons last January (2021) just before their most recent EP came out, Tempest. Since that time they have released videos for three of the songs – and have one more about to debut. They have been able to play to a live audience again. It was fun to hear how that’s been going for them and their collaborative process. And interesting to hear about their new focus on the EP (versus album) and commitment to creating videos with each song. It’s been a way to give each song justice and an opportunity to shine.

We played songs about the cold and got quite a few nice recommendations. You can check out our aspirational playlist on Spotify and see the list of folks we played below.
