MNspin is an online collection of Minnesota music curated by local experts. The collection features the selected works of Minnesota artists of all genres. It is supported by the Hennepin County Library and the Friends of Hennepin County Library.
You submit your music and anyone can stream it and anyone with a library card can download it. It’s a great way to get in front of a lot of music lover and you can submit your now – until March 31, 2022. Here’s more info…
MNspin opens for new submissions once a year. During the next submission period, February 16th to March 31st, 2022, musicians interested in adding their music to MNspin can submit one music recording for consideration per musical act. Music submissions are accepted through an online form. Selected artists sign a license agreement and receive $200 to make their album available to library patrons for free downloading or streaming. A panel of local music experts review all submissions and select up to 100 albums. MNspin curators are music influencers with strong connections within the Minnesota music scene. Their eclectic interests and background or broad areas of interest will help us create a diverse collection of local music. Meet our 2022 curators.
