What a delight to have Michael Lord guest DJ with us today as we played music related to breaks – spring breaks, heartbreaks, breaking bread – you name it.
You may recognize Michael from his 20 years at the Cedar Cultural Center, short stint at the Icehouse or his present post at the Hook and Ladder Theater. Michael goes where the good music is. It was fun to hear about his growing up in Wisconsin, short stint at the Art Institute of Chicago and the extended stay in Florida before he moved to Minneapolis. Michael picked out the songs that brought him here.
