Only Rich Mattson and the Northstars could make being stranded in Northern Minnesota without a license during the winter of a pandemic look like fun. It doesn’t hurt that Rich was stranded in a studio with 20+ guitars but in the hands of a sulkier human that could have turned into some finely tuned kindling!
The song has that trademark Mattson pep and the lyrics are clever. The video is an up-close tour of the studio turned island. The crew recorded more than a dozen songs during the pandemic. At least 5 of those will be released as singles within the next few months and sounds like there might be a full album by the end of the year. Happy Monday!
