We enjoyed talking with Richard Medek so much last month we decided to have him back on again. Richard is like the perfect dinner party guest with deep thoughts and fun stories.
Originally from Lafayette Louisiana, Richard is a drummer who has also spent time in Tuscon and Nashville. We heard a little bit about his time in Nashville tonight. We learned about his favorite project – Winthorp, which sadly for us is a musicians-only playground. It’s a group he has played with in the past – I’m trying not to say jamming but playing together and off each other. We heard about them as well as a recent successful encore playing with Erik Koskinen and Jeffrey Foucault and a story about how Richard snuck into Kevin Costner’s band and might even show up (in audio) in his movie, Swing Vote.
